As a Trading Applications Specialist at Squarepoint, you will work in a global team of exceptional technologists with the primary focus of ensuring reliability and stability of our trading services.
You will develop a deep understanding of financial markets, combining this knowledge with strong technical skills to support systematic trading applications and other critical software.
Trading Applications Specialists drive continuous innovation via automation and optimisation of our daily workflows.
In this role you will learn how we manage application outages and minimise their negative impact on our large-scale global trading operation.
Monitor trading applications and execution strategies, utilising our proprietary observability frameworks.
Leverage your critical thinking skills and manage outages that impact the trading environment, reducing production downtime.
Work on a wide range of projects, including: onboarding of new applications, services and products into the production environment or developing tools and scripts to automate operational tasks.
Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or a similar discipline Up to 4 years experience in a similar environment, buy or sell side Experience with Linux, Python, Bash Knowledge of at least one of the following asset classes: equities, fixed income, derivatives, etc.
This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation.
