About the Department
Cleaning and Gardening Squared (CGS) currently manages all the cleaning and gardening requirements for over 500 local rented housing units and is rapidly expanding its services into the business, private rentals, entertainment and leisure sectors. Every cleaning or gardening contract we undertake is approached with the highest quality standards alongside strict adherence to industry and health and safety regulations. We monitor the training and development of every member of our team and promote a culture of continued improvement.
About the Role
- For a full time position the hours are 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday with the earliest start of 0900 and the latest finish of 1530.
- A driving licence is required. A company vehicle will be provided to you.
- Cleaning all areas of our buildings using appropriate appliances, methods and cleaning products.
- Take responsibility for maintaining suitable cleaning products and ensuring they are used and available.
- Provide efficient and effective cleaning support, including ensuring that security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are well maintained.
- Take responsibility for emptying waste bins and taking waste to recycling plants.
- Wash walls and inside windows to body height.
- Work additional hours if needed.
- Understand and follow Squared’s policies and procedures at all times, including Health and Safety and Fairness.
- To ensure cleaning is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations.
About You
You’ll play an important role in Squared both now and as we develop and grow. We need people to join a small team of like‑minded individuals prepared to attempt something new, who are committed to meeting the needs of our customers through delivery of high‑quality cleaning and gardening services. You’ll be a rare individual who is capable of displaying teamwork yet capable of lone working when needed. You’ll possibly have a cleaning background, but we are prepared to recruit for ability and train for skills and knowledge. You will hold a full UK manual driving licence.
