Role Profile
Role Profile: The Sustainability Analyst will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive sustainability assessments, lifecycle analysis, and environmental impact studies. This position involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain environmental documentation and certification processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the product development team to align product designs with environmental legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Engage in research to understand the materials used in product structures, coordinating with external suppliers.
- Schedule and conduct supplier investigations and reviews.
- Perform product lifecycle assessments for internal processes and products.
- Gather data and analyse it to support environmental and sustainability initiatives, producing evidence and documentation.
- Actively contribute to the company’s sustainability goals by developing necessary data.
- Identify opportunities for improvement using data analysis and justify recommendations.
- Draft and deliver reports that communicate sustainability initiatives and their environmental impact.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain a register of product data, including technical files.
- Work collaboratively with all Product Teams, including New Product Design and the Tendering team.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Degree in Environmental/Sustainability studies or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Analysis Software, and Environmental Calculations.
- Knowledge of sustainable development concepts, frameworks, and ISO standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong teamwork and team-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
