We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join a well established and modern Accountancy Practice based in Bolton. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent end to end payroll delivery and fantastic service to all clients
- Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance, and ensure changes are introduced to client payrolls
- You will be the point of contact for your clients and key accounts, supporting them with any payroll queries
- Providing excellent client communication skills and to be able to build relationships
£25,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)
What we are looking for
- Experience of managing or running multiple payrolls is essential – ideally from an Accountancy Practice or Payroll Bureau
- Knowledge of Sage or other payroll systems is essential
- Experience in dealing with client payroll queries with confidence
- 5+ years payroll experience
