In this role, you’ll provide guidance and support to a wide range of SME businesses and company owners, offering practical, solution‑driven advice, helping clients navigate HR challenges while balancing compliance with their commercial objectives. You will ensure alignment with relevant policies, procedures, and employment legislation. You’ll support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, attendance management, and performance capability. Both introverts and extroverts are great at building connections.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing clear, telephone‑based advice to clients on all aspects of HR and Employment Law.
  • Managing cases from start to resolution, building strong relationships and ensuring a good client experience.
  • Keeping your HR and employment law knowledge up to date, ensuring advice is always current and compliant.
  • Reviewing client documentation, offering constructive feedback, and signposting to template documents and resources where appropriate.
  • Escalating and handing over cases as required, ensuring the highest quality of service throughout.
  • Introducing clients to the full range of services and solutions available.
  • Conducting welcome and onboarding calls with new clients.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong working knowledge of HR and Employment Law, with the ability to handle a wide variety of cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Passion for delivering an outstanding client experience and a genuine desire to make a difference.
  • CIPD Level 3, 5 or 7 (or equivalent) is preferable but not essential if you have hands‑on experience.
