We are seeking a new Marketing Assistant to join a forward‐thinking sales and marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 months in B2B marketing, with experience in copywriting, email marketing, and social media. This role requires a creative thinker who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment and be happy to also undertake the administrative side of the role. The Marketing Assistant will learn and develop new marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement. Salary: 25k – 29k pa

Mon – Friday: 9am – 5pm

Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays

Training: On site / on the job

Duties:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social posts and content to promote products and services.
  • Create compelling copy for various platforms including websites, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Schedule posts and manage social media accounts to increase brand awareness and engagement, in particular LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the industry.
  • Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives.
  • Get involved in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a marketing role, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content tailored to target audiences.
  • Familiarity with WordPress for website management and content updates. (Training given)
  • Experience in email and social media marketing writing, scheduling and posting.
  • Demonstrated ability in writing engaging and compelling social media posts.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‐paced setting.
  • Excellent use of written, verbal and grammatical English, with exceptional communication skills.
