We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer (Junior/Mid) to join the Marketing team of a leading global manufacturer, where no two days are the same. This position will suit an individual who is highly motivated, creative, detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. You will play a pivotal role in converting detailed briefs into visually impactful and creative solutions. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you’ll get to showcase your creativity by working alongside a dynamic team and developing content on various projects from start to finish, including product campaigns, brochures, price lists, photography, packaging, exhibition displays, company newsletters and digital collateral.
To excel in the role, you should:
- Uphold a consistent and high standard of quality across the design team's output
- Understand and work to company-wide briefing processes, ensuring a good standard of filing and organisation is kept
- The ability to create high-quality, accurate artwork within tight deadlines by prioritising workload
- A willingness to accept feedback on your designs and always striving to learn and develop more effective techniques and efficient processes
- A drive to go above and beyond to create designs that exceed expectations by being motivated and a source of inspiration for the marketing team with outside-of-the-box thinking and new ideas that feel relevant for the brand, actively contributing to briefings
We are looking for someone that has the following skill set in Graphic Design:
- A great team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- A self-motivated individual with high ambitions, looking to make a difference
- Superb communication skills
- A genuine passion for design and creation
- Adobe Creative Suite Software skills
- One to three years’ experience in a graphic design role
- A degree or HND in graphic design is preferable
- A design-led online portfolio to showcase your skills
