We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join a dynamic sales team, in the centre of Accrington. The Sales Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the sales department and ensuring its smooth operation. This individual will be responsible for various administrative tasks, maintaining accurate sales records, coordinating sales activities, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in administrative duties, and have a strong understanding of customer’s needs.
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (negotiable) Plus, a generous benefits package. Free parking.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in managing daily operations and administrative tasks to enhance their efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain and update sales records, including customer information, sales orders, and contracts, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and process sales-related documents, such as samples, purchase orders, and sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as finance and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, providing product information, pricing details, and order status updates.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively address customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
- Continuously update and maintain customer databases / CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Qualifications:
- Positive, upbeat character with good communication skills, who can build customer relationships over telephone and email correspondence.
- Detail and solutions-focused.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and comfortable learning a new CRM system which is straightforward.
