Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work on collaborative projects with Sales Managers and Architects using 2D and 3D CAD to engineer solutions.
- Administrate drawing office procedures such as drawing modifications, product introduction, and document control.
- Produce clear and concise Engineering drawings and specifications (Metal fabrications, machined components and sub assemblies).
- Design, develop, source and test prototypes before releasing to production.
- Identify and select materials needed for production.
- Prepare new product quotations based on standard product ranges.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ideally qualified to HNC level in a design or engineering discipline.
- Experience with modern materials and manufacturing techniques.
- Use and understanding of design software, ideally Solid Works, Auto Cad.
- Experience in manufacturing/production beneficial.
