Hours: Monday to Friday, with a 2.30pm finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work on collaborative projects with Sales Managers and Architects using 2D and 3D CAD to engineer solutions.
  • Administrate drawing office procedures such as drawing modifications, product introduction, and document control.
  • Produce clear and concise Engineering drawings and specifications (Metal fabrications, machined components and sub assemblies).
  • Design, develop, source and test prototypes before releasing to production.
  • Identify and select materials needed for production.
  • Prepare new product quotations based on standard product ranges.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ideally qualified to HNC level in a design or engineering discipline.
  • Experience with modern materials and manufacturing techniques.
  • Use and understanding of design software, ideally Solid Works, Auto Cad.
  • Experience in manufacturing/production beneficial.
