Our client is a local, well established business located in the centre of Blackburn, with a parking facility. They require a new Bookkeeper to join their team, to support with the Accounts preparation and Bookkeeping tasks. The successful candidate will have gained accounts experience within Industry or an Accountancy Practice. Benefits and Hours: Flexible Hours: Part Time or Full Time / 28 – 40 hours per week / Flexi start times available. Perks: Free parking, a supportive office environment. Pension Scheme: Enjoy the benefits of the company pension scheme. Salary: £25 – £30k per annum Key Responsibilities: Reporting: You’ll report directly to the Senior Accountant, providing essential updates on accounts activities. Invoice Processing: Efficiently process invoices and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Matching and Verification: Match delivery notes with supplier invoices using Sage 50 or Xero software. Coding and Input: Ensure invoices are correctly coded and accurately inputted into our systems. Administrative Duties: Handle general administrative tasks related to accounts. Supplier Queries: Assist suppliers with any inquiries or issues related to payments. Monthly Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier payments on a monthly basis. VAT: Preparation of the quarterley VAT Return
