An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a niche and reputable manufacturing organisation based in Nelson. This role offers the chance to work within a great team environment, where your skills will be valued. Part Time Hours: 28 – 32 hours a week ideally. Very flexible on the hours and days worked. Salary: Circa £28k per annum pro rata though open to discuss.What you’ll do:As a Finance Assistant, you will play an integral role in maintaining the financial health of our client’s organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and managing invoices, recording payments, bank and statement reconciliations, producing reports, and supporting with the payroll for which training can be given. You will also assist in general administrative tasks. The duties within this account’s role will involve the following: • Handle daily data entry tasks related to accounting and finance• Assist in preparing monthly finance reports• Purchase ledger management: Post Invoices, match to POs, post payment runs, supplier statement recs• Bank and Statement Reconciliation• Sales ledger and credit control duties, chasing outstanding payments Calculating hours worked and processing payroll • Providing finance reports for the management team Supporting with HR admin and general administrative duties to support the leadership team What you bring for this Finance position…
