We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established and modern Accountancy Practice based in Bolton. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent end to end payroll delivery and fantastic service to all clients.
- Keeping up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance, and ensuring changes are introduced to client payrolls.
- You will be the point of contact for your clients and key accounts, supporting them with any payroll queries.
- Providing excellent client communication skills and being able to build relationships.
£25,000 - £31,000 (depending on experience).
What we are looking for:
- Experience of managing or running multiple payrolls is essential - ideally from an Accountancy Practice or Payroll Bureau.
- Knowledge of Sage or other payroll systems is essential.
- Experience in dealing with client payroll queries with confidence.
- 5+ years payroll experience.
