Company Introduction
We are seeking a SharePoint Consultant to support the implementation of a SharePoint-based intranet solution. The project will utilise SharePoint Online out-of-the-box functionality without custom development. The successful candidate will work independently and demonstrate the ability to drive delivery with minimal dependency on others.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Lead the implementation of a SharePoint Online intranet solution
- Configure and deliver a user-friendly intranet using out-of-the-box SharePoint features
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into SharePoint design and structure
- Work closely with stakeholders to validate solution alignment with business needs
- Provide expert guidance on SharePoint best practices, governance, and adoption
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for sustainability post-delivery
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Demonstrable experience delivering SharePoint Online intranet projects
- Strong understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, site structures, web parts, and content management
- Expertise in configuring SharePoint using native (out-of-the-box) features – no custom development
- Experience working independently and managing project deliverables with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Previous experience in NHS or wider public sector (preferred)
