We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled International Trade Analyst to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA International Trade processes: This includes in-depth knowledge of Foreign Trade (FT), Customs Management (CM), Legal Control (LC), Preference Management, Intrastat/Extrastat reporting, and Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening.
- Configuration and customisation expertise: Proficiency in configuring and customising SAP S/4HANA International Trade modules to align with specific business requirements.
- Business process analysis and solution design: Ability to analyse existing international trade processes, identify areas for improvement, and design efficient and compliant solutions.
- Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering: Experience in conducting workshops with clients to gather business requirements, understand pain points, and present proposed solutions.
- Training and knowledge transfer: Excellent communication and presentation skills to develop and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions during and after implementation.
- Stay current: Commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest SAP S/4HANA International Trade functionalities, industry best practices, and evolving regulatory changes.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree: A degree in business administration, information technology, supply chain management, international business, or a related field is typically preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Certifications: Holding relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional in SAP S/4HANA International Trade, demonstrates expertise and credibility.
- Project management experience: Experience in managing international trade implementation projects, ideally using methodologies like ASAP or Agile.
- Industry experience: Prior experience in a role related to international trade, logistics, or supply chain management within a relevant industry.
- Lead and participate in client engagements focused on implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA International Trade functionalities, including: Foreign Trade (FT), Customs Management (CM), Legal Control (LC), Preference Management, Intrastat/Extrastat reporting, Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening.
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements, analyze existing processes, and design solutions tailored to client needs.
- Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA International Trade modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams.
- Provide post-implementation support, including issue resolution, system enhancements, and ongoing optimization.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP S/4HANA International Trade functionalities, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives and the development of methodologies and accelerators.
