We are urgently seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a fast-paced new entity roll-out for the Australian market. This is a hands-on delivery role, responsible for driving SAP implementation alongside infrastructure readiness, working closely with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and offshore teams. The project is already underway, with an aggressive timeline to go-live in June, followed by one month of hypercare.
Due to time zone differences and dependency on external partners, this role requires someone highly proactive, delivery-focused, and comfortable working under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a new SAP-enabled subsidiary roll-out
- Own overall project governance including project plans, milestones, RAID logs, and dependency management
- Senior stakeholder reporting and decision forums
- Manage SAP delivery across Sales setup (50%) and Service / Warehouse setup (50%)
- Coordinate infrastructure and IT readiness including networking and connectivity, office and end-user IT setup
- Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and system integrators
- Work effectively across global time zones, particularly with Australia-based stakeholders
- Drive cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep delivery on track
Required Skills/Experience
- Proven experience delivering SAP projects, ideally new entity rollouts, country rollouts, or carve-outs
- Strong understanding of the SAP delivery lifecycle (build, test, cutover, go-live, hypercare)
- Exposure to SAP modules supporting Sales and Service/Warehouse processes (e.g. SD, WM, EWM - functional understanding is sufficient)
- Strong project management and PMO governance background
- Experience coordinating infrastructure workstreams alongside SAP delivery
- Proven ability to manage third-party suppliers and offshore teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Uttoxeter
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
Desirable Skills/Experience
- S/4HANA delivery experience
- Previous APAC or Australian market rollouts
- Manufacturing or engineering industry background
- Prince2, PMP, or MSP certification
- Experience using MS Project, Jira, Confluence, SAP Solution Manager
