Job Title: Project Manager – Telecoms Security Act – London / Berkshire
Location: Paddington office twice a week & Reading office every other week
Salary/Rate: Up to £467 a day Inside IR35
Start Date: March 2025
Job Type: 6-month contract (with scope to extend)

Company Introduction

Our client urgently requires a Project Manager with significant Telecoms Security Act experience as well as Network Platforms experience in the Telecoms Sector.

The successful candidate for this role MUST be able to handle high-profile stakeholders, manage projects independently, and work in an environment with high levels of ambiguity.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of the Telecoms Security Act
  • Project Management of Network platforms
  • Technical understanding of the building blocks of fixed/mobile networks
  • Excellent experience working within a Telecoms environment
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Knowledge of network platforms is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Remedy Change Management system
  • Knowledge of Oracle Procurement
  • Proven track record of project delivery
  • Knowledge of Jira and Confluence Management application

Job Purpose

  • Day-to-day project management of Network projects in the UK.
  • Act as single point of contact for internal and external suppliers delivering for multiple projects. Coordinate activities, align with project scope, and ensure delivery within VM/LG processes.
  • Manage and maintain project plans. Produce own project plan or develop joint project plans with internal and external teams.
  • Deliver weekly project progress reports to the Sub-Portfolio Manager.
  • Manage delivery of project documentation and approvals, ensuring they are stored securely in a central location.
  • Report directly to the Sub-Portfolio Manager.
  • Manage virtual delivery teams to progress project delivery in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are engaged and supportive.
  • Follow Change Control process to ensure the safe delivery of projects with minimal customer impacts.
  • Follow the standard gated project delivery process.
