The Role
My client is seeking a Sales & CRM Analyst to support its growing marketing, media and commercial function. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Data, Technology and Operations, providing analytical, reporting and operational support to senior commercial stakeholders. The role is well suited to a mid-level or ambitious junior professional with experience in CRM systems, data analysis, marketing and media campaigns and commercial reporting within a financial services, fintech or RegTech environment. It is not a quota-carrying sales role, but a critical enablement position that ensures sales execution is data-driven, well governed and scalable.
In addition, the role will support data-driven marketing and media campaigns, working closely with Sales to track campaign performance, analyse lead sources, and optimise conversion from marketing activity into qualified pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer the firm's CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Produce pipeline, conversion and forecast reporting to support senior sales leadership.
- Lead the execution and tracking of marketing and media campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn, website, webinars, email outreach), ensuring accurate capture of leads within the CRM.
- Analyse campaign performance metrics including lead source, conversion rates, cost per lead and pipeline contribution.
- Partner with Sales to optimise campaign targeting, messaging and timing based on data insights.
- Maintain CRM discipline around lead attribution, campaign tagging and life cycle progression from marketing-qualified lead (MQL) to sales-qualified opportunity (SQL).
- Track sales performance against agreed KPIs, targets and milestones.
- Support ARR modelling, renewal tracking and commercial MI reporting.
- Analyse client, prospect and market data to identify trends and new business opportunities.
- Support segmentation analysis across institutions, asset classes and regulatory regimes.
- Assist with preparation of dashboards and management reporting (e.g. Power BI).
- Support sales governance processes including pipeline reviews and qualification discipline.
- Coordinate with Sales, Onboarding, RegOps/MS and Product teams to ensure accurate handover of information.
- Support CRM enhancements, reporting automation and adoption of AI-enabled insights.

Skills & Experience
Required:
- 2-5 years' experience in a Sales Operations, CRM Analyst, Commercial Analyst or Business Analyst role.
- Strong experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent).
- Proven ability to analyse commercial data and produce actionable reporting.
- Strong Excel capability and experience with reporting tools; Power BI experience highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to data management.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and Technology teams.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting digital marketing or media campaigns within a B2B financial services, fintech or RegTech environment, with a strong focus on performance measurement and ROI.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting, post-trade processes or RegTech environments.
- Understanding of financial products, including derivatives and FX instruments.
- Experience supporting ARR forecasting, pipeline modelling or renewal analysis.
- Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled analytics or workflow optimisation.
Education & Background
- University degree (or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Professional training or certification in CRM platforms or data analytics is an advantage.
