We have an exciting new opportunity with one of our leading financial services clients. They are looking for a Data Business Analyst to join their team on a 9-month contract.
Required Skills/Experience
- Strong Delegate Authority (DA) experience
- A strong Insurance background
- The ability to capture and interpret business definitions, rules and lineage, any projects where they owned source to target mapping, including business and technical metadata
- Familiarity with financial reporting & regulatory compliance specific to Insurance
- Basic SQL querying and good Excel and presentation skills
- The ability to write good user stories, Product Backlog increments and acceptance criteria
- Basic knowledge of Azure and Databricks will be an advantage
- Experience working on data warehouse projects
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Understanding of Lloyds market operations and syndicate structures, beneficial if they worked on Finance or Actuarial area
- Experience in relational and dimensional modelling including normalization and defining relationships between entities.
