We are urgently seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer to support a critical Active Directory remediation programme, with a strong focus during Q1. This is a long-term contract role offering the opportunity to act as a technical authority within a complex enterprise environment.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Leading and delivering Active Directory remediation activities
- Providing expert support across Windows Server environments
- Acting as the technical authority for Windows Server technologies on projects
- Administering and supporting Microsoft Exchange Server
- Managing Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Supporting a range of Windows-based applications
- Working within an ITIL-aligned environment
- Sharing knowledge and upskilling permanent team members
- Participating in quarterly PI Planning and occasional onsite sessions
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong experience across multiple versions of Windows Server
- Proven, hands-on Active Directory expertise
- Solid understanding of Group Policy, DNS & DHCP
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server administration
- Background supporting Windows-based applications
- Good knowledge of networking and protocols, including TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, Telnet, TLS/SSL, SNMP
- Experience working within an ITIL environment
- Comfortable acting as a technical lead or authority on Windows Server initiatives
