Job Title: IT Change Manager
Location: City of London (3 days per week on-site)
Day Rate: £500 (Outside IR35)
Start Date: 6-month Contract (potential extension)

We are seeking an experienced IT Change Manager to support a global organisation through a significant period of technology-led transformation. The environment is highly corporate and regulated, and therefore experience working within a law firm or a similarly corporate, professional services or financial services environment is essential.

This role spans major IT initiatives including new system implementations, digital platform upgrades, automation programmes, and enterprise-wide technology adoption.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Lead end-to-end change management activities across complex IT transformation programmes
  • Conduct detailed change impact assessments across systems, processes, and end-user communities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive change plans, communications, and training strategies
  • Work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and programme leadership to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Produce high-quality governance documents, dashboards, and executive reporting
  • Facilitate workshops, readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Support user adoption across highly structured, professional environments
  • Track adoption metrics and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience as an IT Change Manager on large-scale technology transformation programmes
  • Prosci certification or demonstrable experience using Prosci-based change methodologies (mandatory)
  • Background in a law firm or similarly corporate, highly regulated environment (e.g., professional services, financial services, management consultancy)
  • Strong understanding of technology-driven change, system implementations, and digital adoption
  • Excellent stakeholder management and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience creating communications, training materials, and change artefacts
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to bridge conversations between technical teams and business users
