Overview :
Our client, a global leader in the legal sector, is seeking an experienced Application Development Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern full-stack application solutions. This role will be instrumental in shaping the architectural vision of critical software initiatives, guiding a cross-functional POD team in applying robust standards, and influencing long-term technology strategy across the firm.

Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Architecture :

• Define and review end-to-end solution architectures for full-stack applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.
• Recommend and apply both modern and established technologies to support solution goals.

Standards & Governance :

• Establish, review, and enforce coding standards, architectural guardrails, and development best practices.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, fostering a culture of quality and consistency.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders across the business.
• Review and guide technical decisions to align with long-term platform objectives.
• Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Tech Stack In Scope :

• Backend : MSSQL, C#, .NET Framework, Entity Framework
• Frontend : JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS
• Frameworks/Libraries : MVC Patterns, Angular, React, Vue.js
• Architecture & Integration : REST APIs, Authentication/Authorisation mechanisms
• Cloud/DevOps : Azure (PaaS services, identity management, cloud-native design)

Ideal Candidate Profile :

• Proven experience as an Application Architect or Senior Full-Stack Developer in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, MSSQL).
• Solid experience across multiple front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
• Track record of defining development standards and leading PODs or Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Previous experience in the legal, professional services, or other highly regulated sectors is a strong plus.
