We are seeking an exceptional Ofsted Registered Manager to take the helm of a brand-new, purpose-built children's residential home. This is a chance to shape a service from the ground up, creating a sanctuary where four young people can find safety, healing, and hope. This is more than a management role; it's a chance to create something truly special. * Create Your Vision: Shape the culture, therapeutic environment, and ethos of a brand-new 4-bed home from day one. * Build Your Own Team: You will handpick your entire team, including a Deputy Manager, two Team Leaders, and the support staff. * Lead from the Start: Guide the home through the pre-registration process with Ofsted, select the first children you will support, and establish a centre of excellence. * Unrivalled Support: You are not alone. You will be backed by a highly supportive senior management team and a network of two other successful local children's services, fostering a collaborative and growth-provoking environment. Introduction We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Registered Manager to join a well-established company and lead this exciting new venture. You will have the autonomy to build and mould a dedicated team and a nurturing environment from the ground up. If you are a leader who thrives on creating positive change and wants to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities * Lead the home through a successful Ofsted registration and establish its operational framework. * Recruit, train, and inspire your own team to deliver outstanding, child-centered care. * Create a warm, therapeutic, and supportive home environment that promotes the emotional, social, and physical well-being of every child. * Develop and implement bespoke care plans, ensuring they are tailored to each child's unique history, needs, and aspirations. * Champion a robust safeguarding culture, ensuring all concerns are addressed swiftly and effectively. * Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, social workers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support and positive outcomes. * Foster a sense of belonging and achievement by encouraging children's engagement in education, hobbies, and community life. What’s on Offer * Salary: £60,000 per annum. * Employment Type: Permanent, full-time contract. * Autonomy & Impact: The freedom to build your service and team, backed by a supportive and established organisation. * Career Growth: A strong commitment to your professional development and career progression within a growing company. * Comprehensive Benefits Package. Candidate Requirements * Proven leadership experience in children's residential care. * Deep understanding of The Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015). * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services (or equivalent). * NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare (or equivalent). * A passionate, empathetic, and resilient leader committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. * Excellent communication, team-building, and organisational skills.
