This role will focus on the delivery, operation, and continuous optimisation of hybrid infrastructure platforms across both on‑premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining monitoring and alerting solutions
- Developing and supporting automation frameworks
- Managing CI/CD pipelines
- Providing technical support to development teams to enable the efficient delivery of high‑quality services and applications
Key Deliverables:
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters on‑prem and in cloud
- Access and IAM management in Google Cloud, Looker, BigQuery etc
- Database Management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Performance monitoring and fine tuning
- Log collection and analysis
- Monitoring and alerting setup and management
- Establish best practices and standards and maintain documentation
- Build and improve infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code
Qualifications and Skills:
- Hands‑on experience with on‑prem sharded MongoDB cluster
- Extensive experience in building, managing, scaling Kubernetes clusters (GKE, manual Kubernetes, etc.)
- Extensive experience in designing and building high availability, resilient infrastructure
- Experience in setting up and maintaining monitoring, alerting, log collection (rsyslog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
- Automation and scripting experience (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Bash)
- Extensive Linux administration experience (Ubuntu LTS)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Medium to large size company experience
- Experience dealing with different business units located in various parts of the globe
- Self‑motivated team player with great attention to details, superb organizational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload
- Proven track record in maintaining and enhancing skill level according to future technology trends and using innovative approaches in solving and preventing problems
- Ability to analyse, solve problems, and work well under pressure
- Experience working independently and without direct supervision
- Willing to work outside standard business hours
Desirable:
- Experience with Grafana‑Loki
- Experience with Google, Amazon, Microsoft cloud
- Experience with Python, Go languages
