The Change Manager will lead organisational transformation initiatives across diverse industries and clients. This role requires expertise in change management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications to drive successful adoption of change initiatives in fast-paced consultancy environments. As a manager at Squarcle, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance and expertise to clients across various industries. You will be responsible for leading a team of consultants, delivering complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative optimisation and transformation solutions. You will contribute to business development efforts, lead teams, mentor junior consultants, and support the success of the consulting practice.
Primary Roles And Responsibilities
- Apply change management frameworks (PROSCI ADKAR, Kotter’s Change Model, Lewin’s Change Theory).
- Develop strategic communications aligned with organisational change goals.
- Use digital communication tools and platforms, such as intranet systems, email campaigns, and analytics.
- Conduct impact analyses, assess organisational readiness, and identify change risks.
- Use data to drive decision‑making and measure outcomes.
- Design and execute tailored change management strategies and plans for client projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Conduct change readiness assessments and impact analyses to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including project managers, consultants, and client stakeholders, to embed change management principles into project deliverables.
- Identify, analyse, and manage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities during change implementation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, coaching them on their roles in leading change.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and foster alignment.
- Develop and execute robust communication plans to inform, engage, and inspire client employees and stakeholders.
- Craft compelling messaging tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring consistency and clarity in all communication channels.
- Design and deliver training programs, toolkits, and resources to support change adoption.
- Build internal client capacity for managing future changes independently.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the success of change initiatives.
- Provide regular progress reports and insights to project teams and senior leaders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Support the internal staffing processes including performance management of assigned individuals.

- Advanced facilitation and coaching capabilities to drive engagement and alignment.
- Ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify and pursue follow on work and new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Contribute to the sales and bid processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Leverage your network to expand the client base.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients and promote continue to promote Squarcle Consulting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of consultants, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, assisting in their professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback and identify training needs.
- Foster knowledge sharing and best practices within the consulting team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the consulting domain.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (Essential)
- Degree or postgraduate level qualification.
- Management Consulting Experience: Minimum 5+ years in a management consultancy or equivalent environment.
- PROSCI or APMG Change Management Certification (or equivalent).
- Proven track record of leading complex, large‑scale change initiatives across multiple industries.
- Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver impactful communication strategies.
- Experience of managing and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders in a complex and challenging environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in multi‑disciplinary environments.
- Understanding of the Defence or Public Sector.
- Relevant experience of managing a decentralised team.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills – analytical, innovative, and creative mindset.
- Exceptional client service.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite; specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- A worthy team player dedicated to contributing toward the outcome desired by the team.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (Desirable)
- Certifications in strategic communications, such as IABC or CIPR.
- Project Management, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
- Chartered Membership within a related field.
- Understanding of supply chain operations.
