About the Role
Squad Serv Ltd is expanding into larger and more complex service contracts, including work with diplomatic missions, institutional clients, and large organisations. As part of this growth, we are seeking a Commercial and Marketing Manager to strengthen our commercial governance and lead our marketing and pricing strategy. This is a key role supporting the company’s transition from a founder led operation to a structured organisation with defined commercial oversight. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping commercial strategy, supporting tenders, strengthening brand positioning, and ensuring that growth is achieved in a controlled and profitable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial and marketing strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives
- Lead pricing strategy and commercial analysis for new and existing contracts
- Support the preparation of tenders, bids, and proposals, ensuring commercial accuracy and compliance
- Review contract terms, pricing structures, and service scopes to ensure alignment with operational capability
- Analyse market trends, identify new sectors and client opportunities, and support market entry decisions
- Strengthen brand positioning with institutional, diplomatic, and high profile clients
- Coordinate with sales, business development, and operations teams to ensure consistency between commercial planning and service delivery
- Monitor commercial performance, margins, and risk exposure across contracts
- Support client negotiations and commercial discussions where required
- Establish structured commercial processes to reduce reliance on director level decision making
Person Specification
- Proven experience in commercial management and marketing within a service based or contract led environment
- Strong understanding of pricing models, tendering processes, and commercial risk management
- Experience within facilities management, support services, or a related sector is highly desirable
- Ability to analyse market opportunities and translate insights into practical commercial actions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working closely with senior management in a growing business
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
