Overall purpose of the job: To provide accurate measurement and valuation data in a timely manner to allow SQS to receive payment for works delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all measure sheets and supporting documents for all work are reviewed against customer/contract requirements and corrected as necessary for invoice/application preparation.
- Measure sheets and supporting documents will be referred back to the responsible Site Manager for clarification, but where necessary site visits will be carried out by the incumbent to verify/validate the measure sheets.
- Prepare Invoices from the Measure Sheets, or other sources as applicable, for submission to the Customers.
- Maintain Subcontract Liability document for each client contract inclusive of the record of invoices to facilitate management reports as required.
- Ensure that copies of all invoices, associated measure sheets and supporting documents are filed for reference.
- Attend monthly client contract review meetings to ensure ALL commercial aspects are covered and mutually understood.
- Work as part of the contract team to produce monthly cost and profit statements together with supporting the contract manager at internal monthly review.
- Prepare monthly and when requested, weekly costing on each contract to enable tight monitoring of cost/values.
- Engage with clients where money due has not been paid, and escalation to line manager where specific clients prove problematic/difficult or unwilling to pay.
