We are looking for a Personalisation Engineer who will be focusing on creating onsite personalisation experiences, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests. Working across a diverse portfolio of clients, you will take ownership of building and deploying experiments from brief through to launch, partnering closely with our optimisation and strategy team. The role is primarily a build-focused position. You will be responsible for translating test hypotheses and design concepts into clean, reliable and performant code, ensuring every experiment is delivered on time, to a high standard and with no adverse impact on site performance. We drive impact and change by fully understanding and translating data through our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy personalised experience and A/B tests using a variety of testing tools (for example Adobe Target, WebTrends Optimize, Adobe Journey Optimiser) across our client sites.
- Work closely with our optimisation and UX teams to translate wireframes and hypotheses into accurate, pixel‑perfect test variants.
- Contribute to quality control processes, such as QA testing and code reviews to ensure all work delivered to our clients is bug free.
- Stay current with AI tooling and integrate it into your development workflow to improve speed and quality of output.
- Integrate with third‑party and internal APIs to build dynamic, data‑driven web experiences.
- Support our optimisation team with designing and developing custom AB tests across our varied clients.
- Learn multiple languages and latest trends to a professional level and transfer that knowledge across the team.
- Ensure projects are delivered to high quality standards and contribute to the smooth and successful delivery of each project.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders alongside the client team.
Qualifications Experience and Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience in a front-end development role.
- Strong competence with web technologies (vanilla HTML, CSS and JS a minimum). React knowledge a bonus.
- Experience with A/B testing and working in CRO platforms is a plus.
- Able to write clean, well‑structured production ready code.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Evidence of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritising needs, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills as well as an attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - exceptional relationship building skills both with direct team members and stakeholders.
