The Role
- Menu Innovation: Design and execute high-quality menus, including seasonal changes and daily specials.
- Service Leadership: Manage and motivate a brigade of chefs, handling rotas, training, and development.
- Financial: Manage stock, ordering, working closely with the ownership to achieve profit targets and minimise waste.
- Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of food safety, health, and hygiene (HACCP).
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef or an ambitious Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
- Skills: Strong communication, time management, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Passion: A genuine love for fresh, local ingredients and culinary excellence.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 and a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 preferred).
