Principle Test Engineer AWS JAVA Testing CDP [UK] Requirements Java AWS TDD Automating testing of RESTful APIs Location London Hybrid 1 day a week in the office eligibility to work in the UK Job description We are looking for a Principle Test Engineer to work on the end to end integration tests on the CDP project that has multiple teams. This essential role is key with extremely strong Leadership skills and qualities to ensure continuity, enhanced functionality, and compliance within the project as we transition to a new Customer Data Platform (CDP) that supports marketing and engagement goals. This tried-and-tested staffing model ensures seamless knowledge transfer, operational stability, and the ability to quickly adapt to project demands. This expedited process is crucial for meeting the projects timelines and maintaining momentum, ensuring the marketing teams continue to engage audiences effectively while preparing for the future with a robust CDP solution. Working on end to end delivery and working closely with the program manager . Key Skills and Responsibilities Essential Skills: You will: Experienced in building and implementing Test Automation Frameworks Java/Python Previous Leadership roles and responsibilities need to be evidenced Expertise in stakeholder management Experience in testing different types of Software products as part of the Agile team. Expertise in AWS Networking Experienced in Testing different types of Software products as part of an Agile team, Scrum, working with multiple teams Observability, Pair Programming, TDD) Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation) Desirable Skills: Experience with Java, AWS, TDD with 5 years of experience with Leadership Qualities Experience in non-functional testing and manual testing Expertise in in non functional Testing Experience with Testing and Automating testing of RESTful APIs High-level communicator Experience A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work based experience. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer ideally with a focus on media-related projects. Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies. Experience with providing coaching and mentoring Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios. Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.
