Mid Level DevOps Integration Specialist – FTC [UK] Location
remote within the UK territory eligibility to work in the UK Work Pattern- Monday to Friday, 9-5 working hours Role Overview This role will be responsible for delivering the upgrade of the radiology system application onto a new cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration between our products including PAS (Patient Administration System for covering patient demographics & admissions), PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System for medical imaging), OCS (Order Communication System for clinical orders), and other third party services. The position involves configuring and deploying integration capabilities, investigating and resolving complex issues in live environments, and contributing high quality technical expertise to project teams. Good knowledge of HL7v2 messaging, SQL, Linux (RedHat), and scripting is essential. Beyond the core technical responsibilities, this role requires someone who can build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery. The candidate will also provide third line support in collaboration with the Service team, while actively contributing to technical specifications, solution documentation, and deployment automation. Experience in full-stack solution deployment and testing will be highly valued, alongside the ability to maintain and enhance code asset management practices. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and adaptability, and have a good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies. Previous experience in the health sector is highly desirable, given the nature of the systems being upgraded. This role suits someone who is both independent and collaborative, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Develop and maintain technical specifications and solution documentation. Contribute to code asset management, deployment automation, and documentation. Experience in full-stack solution deployment and testing. Familiarity with DevOps and Agile principles. Health sector experience highly desirable. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work based experience. Proven experience as a Software Engineer ideally with a focus on healthcare-related projects. Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies. Experience with providing coaching and mentoring Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios. Knowledge of software development tools and technologies. You are flexible and curious in your approach Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Additional information Duration of the contract: initially 12 months w ith the possibility of extension
