About The Company

Recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe's fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years, Spyrosoft is a global software engineering powerhouse. As our UK Senior Sales Development Representative, you will help to drive our next phase of regional growth. Backed by the delivery capability of over 2,000 domain experts across ten countries, you won't be selling generic IT packages; you will be opening doors to high-value consulting solutions across verticals such as Finance, Media, and Geospatial. We offer the best of both worlds: the credibility, case studies and scale of a publicly listed global group, combined with the autonomy, agility, and uncapped potential of an agile UK scale-up. This role sits at the sharp end of our growth strategy - opening doors, uncovering real technology initiatives, and setting up high-quality conversations with senior decision-makers.

Working mode: Bournemouth-hybrid - office 2 times per week

The Opportunity

We are looking for a consultative Senior Sales Development Representative to act as the first trusted point of contact for our potential clients. Working directly alongside senior leadership, you will initiate intelligent conversations with senior stakeholders across medium and large organisations. This is not a script-driven, high-volume call centre role measured on metrics like dial counts. This is a strategic opening role dedicated purely to high-quality business conversations and tangible commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Prospecting: Proactively research and engage target organisations using phone, email, and LinkedIn. Secure peer-to-peer conversations with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, CIOs, and senior technology leaders. Tailor your outreach based on industry drivers, company context, and individual stakeholder roles.
  • Deep Discovery & Qualification: Uncover client's current technology challenges. Identify active, planned or emerging transformation initiatives. Diagnose delivery capacity bottlenecks and scaling constraints. Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities based strictly on relevance, timing, and fit.
  • Meeting Setup & Handover: Book high-quality, well-briefed meetings for senior commercial leaders. Provide clear context and insight ahead of meetings regarding client challenges, drivers, and priorities. Ensure handovers support strong conversion rates and meaningful follow-up.
  • Pipeline & Ecosystem Contribution: Maintain accurate records and opportunity context inside our HubSpot CRM. Contribute to early pipeline creation through well qualified opportunities. Work collaboratively with our sales, marketing, and leadership teams.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience as an SDR/BDR in technology, software, or IT services.
  • Proven track record of engaging senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong discovery and qualification skills with an instinct for asking the right questions.
  • Confidence discussing high-level technology challenges including software engineering, delivery, digital transformation.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and owning commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience working within software consultancy, professional services, or an MS/MVP partner environment.
  • Background selling into mid-market or enterprise scale organisations.
  • Familiarity with technical delivery models including cloud, data, AI, and team augmentation.
  • Experience qualifying complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Clear, achievable variable commission aligned to quality meetings and pipeline impact.
  • Total realistic OTE of £55,000 - £60,000.
  • Flexible hybrid working requiring 2 days a week in our Bournemouth office.
  • Direct daily collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Clear, structured progression pathways into senior commercial or vertical-focused closing roles.
