Job Purpose

Our Reactive Engineers are responsible for undertaking a range of work on a variety of Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems. This can include faults, break downs and small works. We have a requirement for a Reactive Engineer to cover customers in London and Surrey.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience. You should have the following skills:

  • Servicing and fault finding on Intruder alarms primarily Texecom and Pyronix
  • Servicing and fault finding on Access control / Door entry systems primarily Paxton Net Two
  • Servicing and fault finding on IP & Analogue CCTV (Hikvision) systems with basic networking skills
  • Dual Com monitoring and knowledge of other types of communication devices
  • Experience in handling breakdowns and small works up to 4 hours duration
  • Familiar with all NSI codes of practice
  • Knowledge of all current industry standards

About you

You should be an experienced security engineer who enjoys working on faults and problem solving. You should also have great communication skills as well as enthusiasm, self‐motivation and time‐management skills. A full UK manual driving licence is essential. You are likely to live on the West side of London/Surrey to easily cover this territory.

Hours and Other details about the job:

Our standard hours are 7.75 onsite Monday – Friday starting at 8.30 am. On call rota is between 1 in 5 to 1 in 9 weeks for which very competitive rates are paid. You will be working in a small, friendly team with the support of dedicated Technical Engineers. You should be flexible and able to cover multiple jobs (typically between 1 – 6 per day). NSSA Security Screening is required for this role.
