Job Purpose
Due to our impressive growth, we are looking for experienced Fire & Security Service Reactive Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reactive maintenance, servicing, and testing a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites. If you’re a skilled engineer with strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality service, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Access control / Door entry systems
- IP & Analogue CCTV systems with basic networking skills
- Knowledge of other types of communication devices
- Conventional & Wireless Intruder Alarm Systems
- Knowledge of all major brands of Panels & App based systems
- Maintenance of Emergency Lighting
- Familiar with all NSI codes of practice, Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance of all above aspects.
- Knowledge of all current industry standards, EN50131 PD6662, DD243, BS4737, BS8243
About you and your location
You should be experienced in servicing and maintaining fire & intruder alarms and ideally access control and CCTV systems too. You should have good communication skills as well as enthusiasm, self‑motivation and time‑management skills. A full manual UK driving license is essential for this role. Depending on your location you will be covering territory in London/Kent & Surrey, however flexibility to cover other areas of London is required.

Hours and Other details about the job
Our standard hours are 7.75 onsite Monday – Friday starting at 8.30 am. On call rota is between 1 in 5 to 1 in 9 weeks for which very competitive rates are paid. The work requires working with ladders at height and can be physically demanding. A full UK manual driving license is required for the company vehicle. You will be travelling to various sites across your area and will need to be flexible. NSSA Security Screening is required for this role.
