Join a specialist technology business. SPX Pearpoint is looking for a hands-on Service Repair Technician to join our team in Bordon. Working as part of a team of four technicians, you'll diagnose, repair and maintain specialist underground inspection equipment, combining both mechanical and electronic skills to get equipment back to customers quickly and reliably.
What you'll do:
- Diagnose faults and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
- Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Use technical drawings and documentation to support repairs.
- Complete soldering and splicing where required.
- Record repairs accurately and meet turnaround targets.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent service.
What you'll bring:
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience repairing small electro-mechanical equipment, with an interest in both electronics and mechanical systems. You'll ideally have basic soldering skills, good fault-finding ability and experience working in a team-based environment. An engineering qualification such as an NVQ or HNC would be advantageous.
