Your Role: Key Responsibilities Materials Management * Plan production schedules to align materials and labour with customer deadlines. * Manage inventory, oversee stock integrity, and handle material shortages. * Ensure smooth workflows for receiving, storing, and kitting materials. Leadership and Team Development * Lead and mentor the materials, stores, and despatch teams, fostering growth and efficiency. * Conduct appraisals, performance reviews, and training to support team success. * Maintain health, safety, and compliance standards. Warehouse, Packing, and Shipping * Supervise goods-in processes, ensuring quality checks and accurate documentation. * Oversee packaging and despatch to meet customer and regulatory requirements. * Optimise shipping methods for cost-effective, timely deliveries. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in materials management or a similar role. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Syspro experience is a bonus). * Background in electronics/electrical manufacturing is advantageous. * The ability to drive a forklift is a bonus.
