SPX Cooling Technologies is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to join our growing UK service team. This is a hands-on, senior-level role where you'll be out in the field delivering expert support across the full lifecycle of industrial cooling towers. If you've got strong experience in Industrial Maintenance, construction, erection, and field service—and want a role with real autonomy, variety, and progression—this could be a great fit.

The Role

You'll act as a key customer-facing representative, working on sites across the UK (and occasionally internationally), supporting installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of cooling tower systems across multiple OEMs. This is a senior position, so you'll also play a part in mentoring junior engineers, supporting sales teams, and spotting new business opportunities while on site.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Erecting, installing, servicing, and maintaining cooling towers
  • Carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across multiple OEM systems
  • Supporting construction and installation projects on-site
  • Advising customers on performance improvements, efficiency, and compliance
  • Supporting commissioning, warranty work, and planned maintenance
  • Working closely with internal sales teams to support growth opportunities
