We are looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fabricator Welder who is capable of working to a high standard both individually and as a team member.
You will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of steel components and assemblies, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
The role will include
- MIG Welding mild steel.
- Fabricating components and assemblies from engineering drawings.
- Checking your own work to ensure it meets drawing and quality requirements
- Using a wide range of workshop fabrication equipment and machinery.
- Working alongside our CNC laser cutting , punching and press brake operations.
- maintaining a clean , safe and organised working area.
The Person
We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
You should be able to
- Read and understand engineering / fabrication drawings
- Accurately measure and fabricate Components
- MIG weld mild steel to a good standard
- Take a job from drawing through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Organise and prioritise your own workload.
- Identify and resolve straightforward fabrication issues yourself.
- Produce consistently good quality work.
- Work efficiently without compromising quality or safety.
Working hours & Holidays
- 4 day working week.
- Two 30 minute breaks - One paid and one unpaid.
- 200 hours annual holiday entitlement plus statutory holidays.
