This role is home based with extensive travel across Gravesend, Kent. Interviews will take place on the 9th of April.

About the Role:

  • Deliver one‐to‐one therapeutic counselling to children and young people across schools, centres and online.
  • Manage your own caseload and complete initial assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential therapeutic records.
  • Liaise with professionals, families and school staff as required.
  • Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
  • Work flexibly on a self‐employed basis, with own insurance, DBS and membership.

About You:

  • Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People.
  • Registered with BACP/UKCP and committed to ethical practice.
  • Experience counselling children and young people across varied settings.
  • Able to build rapport, show empathy and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Strong organisational, communication and record‐keeping skills.
  • Committed to reflective practice and ongoing CPD.
