We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen at The Raglan, a busy, food-led pub in Walthamstow with a focus on bold, seasonal cooking and proper hospitality. This isn't a turn up and coast kind of kitchen. We're building something with personality, and we want chefs who actually care about what goes on the plate.

The role:

As Junior Sous, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to run service, support the team, and help push the food forward. You'll be:

  • Leading sections during service
  • Supporting and training junior chefs
  • Maintaining high standards across prep and service
  • Getting involved in menu development and specials
  • Helping manage stock, GP, and kitchen organisation

What we're looking for:

  • Strong CDP ready to step up, or current Junior Sous
  • Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen
  • Calm under pressure and organised during busy services
  • Someone who takes pride in their work
