We are looking for a talented Sales and Services Account Manager to join our growing team. You must have the ability to work on complex products and to work collaboratively and flexibly across several inter-disciplinary teams.

Position Responsibilities:
Service & Support Sales – Small Sample Management and Liquid Pipettor Portfolio:
- Engage customers in advance of warranty or contract expiration to initiate new service contract or renewal
- Contact non-contract customers to stimulate service agreement uptake
- Generate proposals for service contracts, relocations, customer education, and technical assistance repairs
- Maintain and progress Salesforce support opportunities, tasks, and keep opportunities and activities up to date
- Engage with commercial team to support service agreement business growth where required
- Assist with implementation and follow up of service sales campaigns
- Periodically arrange customer site visits to discuss service needs and upsell service contracts where applicable
- Work with accounts receivable team to process service sales orders, PO’s, and manage creation of service contracts
- Maintain and prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
Customer Care:
- Monitor incoming customer support communication channels
- Respond to customers in timely manner
Administration:
- Preparing chargeable service reports for invoicing
- Communicating with US service partner organizations, third-party asset managers, and insurance providers when required
- Secure tax exempt certificates and certificates of liability insurance from in-house resources where applicable.
- Attend regular one on one meetings with US National Service Account Manager and Field Service Managers.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information
- Undertake other reasonable duties at request of line manager and on occasion, be willing to be flexible regarding start and finish times of daily routine.
- Positively promote SPT Labtech’s products and services
- Comply with company policies and health and safety procedures
- Maintain professional standards of appearance, manner, discipline, and work including personal work area
Experiences/Education:
- A sound understanding of the service requirements recommended for the companies’ instrument portfolio
- Undertaking of the life science and pharma industry clients where the companies’ products provide solutions
- Ability to assess issues and problem-solve
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer facing skills, empathy, and careful listener
- Clear verbal and written communication skills employing positive language and attitude
- Self-motivated with a cooperative attitude, able to work with managers and peers across the organization.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize
- Desire to maintain a safe, clean, and amicable working environment.
- Excellent people skills with proactive attitude towards difficult or challenging problems.
- 2+ years in a sales or account management role with customer-facing experience
- Proficient at use with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Word.
