SPT Labtech , a rapidly growing, £90m life sciences company backed by EQT private equity, is seeking an exceptional Commercial & Operations Finance Business Partner to help drive our next phase of global growth.
As a key strategic finance partner to senior leaders across our business, you\’ll play a critical role in shaping commercial performance and guiding data-driven decision making. You\’ll report directly to the Head of FP&A, and work closely with both senior stakeholders and regional finance teams to unlock value and deliver tangible impact. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to provide financial insight, decision making support and strategic challenge.
  • Own the weekly revenue reporting process.
  • Owning the weekly and monthly commercial reporting and KPI analysis.
  • Lead the improvement of financial reporting for gross margin and system improvements for this (standard cost setting).
  • Identifying opportunities to drive growth through commercial performance, improved efficiency and cost optimisation.
  • Support the annual strategic plan, budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Supporting investment decisions through business case development and tracking return on investment.
  • Support the development of financial systems (e.g. data warehouse and Power BI reporting).
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects.

Your Skills & Attributes:

  • Chartered Accountant.
  • Previous experience in a similar business partnering role.
  • Advanced MS Excel techniques and Power BI.
  • Strong experience in data analysis and passionate about business growth
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders to influence and challenge decision-making.
  • Experience using ERP and CRM system.
