SPT Labtech , a rapidly growing, £90m life sciences company backed by EQT private equity, is seeking an exceptional Commercial & Operations Finance Business Partner to help drive our next phase of global growth.
As a key strategic finance partner to senior leaders across our business, you\’ll play a critical role in shaping commercial performance and guiding data-driven decision making. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to provide financial insight, decision making support and strategic challenge.
- Own the weekly revenue reporting process.
- Owning the weekly and monthly commercial reporting and KPI analysis.
- Lead the improvement of financial reporting for gross margin and system improvements for this (standard cost setting).
- Identifying opportunities to drive growth through commercial performance, improved efficiency and cost optimisation.
- Support the annual strategic plan, budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Supporting investment decisions through business case development and tracking return on investment.
- Support the development of financial systems (e.g. data warehouse and Power BI reporting).
- Lead and support ad hoc projects.
Your Skills & Attributes:
- Chartered Accountant.
- Previous experience in a similar business partnering role.
- Advanced MS Excel techniques and Power BI.
- Strong experience in data analysis and passionate about business growth
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders to influence and challenge decision-making.
- Experience using ERP and CRM system.
