We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Electrical Technician with a good understanding of mechanical principles to work on our innovative high complexity products to join the team at SPT Labtech. You will receive full product training and support from our fantastic manufacturing team. - Wire and assemble electrical control panels for industrial machines and scientific instruments based on schematics and engineering drawings.
- Creating cable assemblies, looms following the latest drawing sets.
- Conduct circuit verification on electrical installations to ensure functionality and safety (Dead test).
- Conduct live circuit testing on mains (LV 230VAC and SELV 24VDC circuits).
- Utilize Digital Voltmeters (DVM) and other test equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and specifications.
Proven experience in electrical panel assembly and wiring following schematics and assembly drawings. Proficiency in using tools such as Digital Voltmeters (DVM) and other relevant testing equipment. Knowledge of basic electrical testing. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Relevant electrical qualification to verify and test, such as a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent. ~PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) but training can be provided. Be able to perform tasks requiring good manual dexterity.
