Are you a hands-on marketer who loves bringing campaigns and content to life? We are looking for a Marketing Manager (Content Campaigns) who thrives on delivering high-quality, multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing every step from content creation to flawless execution and performance optimisation.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing standout content, building structured content ecosystems, and ensuring every asset is delivered on time, on brand, and aligned to commercial goals. You will coordinate across teams, manage agency partners, and oversee the smooth delivery of campaigns that reach the right audiences and fuel measurable demand.
If you take pride in making things happen, creating meaningful content, managing complex deliverables, and ensuring campaigns run with precision and impact, this role gives you the platform to drive real results on a global scale.
About us: Based in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, SPT Labtech makes products that transform the way scientists work. For decades, our expert scientists, engineers, and business innovators have provided scientists with world-leading, innovative solutions for liquid handling, sample preparation, and sample management that help accelerate research and make a real difference to human health. We work collaboratively with our customers, building trusted relationships that enable us to deliver exceptional, personalised experiences designed for real-world challenges in the lab.
This job contributes to organisational success by:
- Architecting the Campaign Roadmap: Defining the "how" and "why" behind integrated campaigns to drive MQLs, SQLs, and customer lifetime value.
- Commercial Alignment: Aligning marketing outputs with sales objectives, ensuring every piece of content serves a specific stage of the commercial funnel.
- Brand Stewardship: Elevating the company’s voice in the market as a thought leader in Precision Liquid Handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Strategy Execution: Lead the end-to-end development of multi-channel global campaigns (digital, social, events, and PR). You won’t just create content; you will define the distribution strategy that ensures it reaches the right persona at the right time.
- Content Architecture: Move beyond "blog posts" to create a sophisticated content ecosystem. This includes high-value whitepapers, technical pillars, and sales enablement tools that position the company as a premier industry authority.
- Performance ROI Ownership: Take full accountability for campaign performance. Rather than just reporting "stats," you will analyse data to provide actionable insights, pivot strategies, and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to the bottom line.
- Stakeholder Management Influence: Act as a strategic partner to the Sales and Product teams, translating technical product roadmaps into compelling commercial narratives.
- Budget Resource Management: Manage the campaign budget, ensuring optimal spend across channels. Lead and mentor junior team members and manage agency relationships to ensure high-quality delivery on time and on budget.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our value proposition remains differentiated and resonant with our core personas.
Essential skills and attributes:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining a foundation in high-quality content execution.
- Advanced Copywriting Narrative Building: Expert-level ability to turn complex, technical information into persuasive, benefit-driven storytelling.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable using CRM and marketing automation data to justify spend and refine campaign tactics.
- Stakeholder management: Confident in presenting strategies and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Agility: Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Experience Technical Requirements:
- Existing content marketing experience with depth in Business to Business (B2B), ideally in Life Science, Engineering or manufacturing.
- An understanding of marketing automation platforms (we use HubSpot) to maximise investment in content through automation, segmentation and personalisation.
- Proven project management ability.
- Experience managing third-party agencies and suppliers.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Experience with Adobe suite.
Our commitment to you: You will be working with talented professionals in a motivated and driven team. We offer a competitive salary package and comprehensive, valued benefits, including private medical insurance, a generous pension plan, and an annual discretionary bonus. We embrace diversity and inclusivity, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, or family status. We prioritise supporting our employees’ diverse needs as we strive for excellence together.
If the above resonates with you, apply with an up-to-date CV and be a part of our journey to reshape the future of science.
