Timber Window and Door installer / Carpenter to fit high quality bespoke windows & doors OTE up to £56K (Gross) - full time PAYE South London. Experienced Carpenter / Window/Door fitter with a close eye to attention to detail required to join one of London's most well established and respected bespoke timber window companies.
Award winning SPS Timber windows are celebrating their 26th year. Established in 1998, SPS timber windows manufacture and install premium quality energy-efficient box sash windows, casement windows, French doors, front doors and sliding/folding doors.
You should have a minimum of two/three years experience with installing and finishing high quality bespoke box sash, casement windows, French doors and Front doors etc. You should have Level 2 NVQ in Fenestration Installation or equivalent. You should ideally hold an MTC card.
You should be able to carry out high quality installations of all types of windows and doors in domestic properties, from start to fully finish without supervision, including associated works such as external pointing, internal making good/plastering and final decorations. You must have excellent communication skills. A UK driving licence is required. All equipment will be provided but having own hand tools would be an advantage.
Hours of work: PAYE full time position: Usual working hours 8am - 4.30 pm 5 days a week - 37.5 hours per week (excluding breaks). Flexible working days/hours could be an option and pay would be Pro-Rata.
Great package for a senior window installer with a gross OTE up to £56K (PAYE) (Including some Saturdays & fitting commission). This senior window installer position includes a basic salary of £35K - £40K gross basic (PAYE) (Includes basic + daily attendance bonus) +/- Dependant on experience. Plus Fitting commission, Plus Weekend overtime (Weekend overtime when available up to £29 per hour, max 7.5 hrs), Plus Profit related bonus, Plus Work place pension (after three months), Plus Company Van including fuel card, Plus 28 days paid holidays per annum (including 8 bank holidays) qualifying period applies.
Alternatively, we may consider employing the right candidate on a day rate basis to start with (Day rate TBC dependant on performance/experience) and/or price work (after a qualifying period). You would require a UTR and to be registered on the CIS subcontractor scheme. SPS timber windows is based in Mitcham CR4 4HR so ideally, you would be South London based. We are members of CITB so relevant training may be offered.
