The Role

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist in cleaning and maintaining pools and facilities by skimming, vacuuming, and chemical treatments.
  • Periodically drain pools for deep cleaning, including brushing and scrubbing walls, floors, and surfaces.
  • Assist Pool Service Specialist in testing pool water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, algae, and contaminants.
  • Receive training to ensure proper water chemistry, color, and clarity.
  • Calculate and add chemicals to maintain pH balance and eliminate contaminants.
  • Inspect pools and equipment regularly.
  • Help complete daily logs on chemical usage, water quality, repairs, and supplies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of pool cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Mechanical skills related to aquatic facilities and equipment.
  • Math skills for calculating chemical ratios.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related experience.

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Good vision and hearing to interpret water analysis and equipment readings.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning, checking, and monitoring tasks.
