Associate, Research, Cluttons
Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality market reports, briefings, presentations, and commentary for internal and external audiences
- Analyse market, economic, and sector data to generate clear, evidence-based insight
- Support teams across the business with tailored research outputs that inform client advice; Shape the development of new research products and more regular market updates across key sectors
- Support Head of Research as an interpreter of macro-economic and policy developments, providing regular, high-level briefings to Commercial Leadership on any implications for Service Lines and their clients
- Provide research support across a range of Service Lines, with scope to travel for in-person collaboration where needed
- Be a key contributor to business development activities
- Confidently comment on the market – actively sharing research across all channels and in the media
- Work with colleagues to support client events, presentations, and advisory conversations
- Help embed data-driven and AI-enabled approaches within the team’s workflow and output development
Requirements
- Experience in the property sector, with a strong track record in research, data analysis, market commentary, and client-facing work. Experience in commercial property is essential.
- Clear and confident communicator, able to translate data into concise, relevant insight for different audiences. You will have strong presentation skills, with the confidence to present to senior colleagues, clients and external audiences.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, relevant insight. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in writing published articles and reports.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Having experience with data visualization software and databases is highly valued.
- We are also looking for someone with a strong interest in data-led working and the practical use of AI tools to improve research processes and outputs.
- Independent and proactive, establishing yourself as a trusted expert in the Commercial sector through your ability to build strong relationships across the business and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
