As our newest regional Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist, you will work closely with our helpdesk and applications team, end users and stakeholders across the region, participate in regional group projects, and support regional IT Security initiatives in alignment to the Group’s agenda. You will handle the day to day operations of our IT security and infrastructure systems, as well as level two/three support and project related tasks. This role will be based in our Singapore office and reports to the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager – Asia.
What You Will Do
- Manage vendor partnerships for infrastructure or processes including service level agreements, deliverables, and maintaining an understanding of cost.
- Manage and review existing IT infrastructure within the organisation, IT Administration and Support to Users.
- Participate in IT Infrastructure or Group level project including defining program, project scope and objectives for the Systems/Infrastructure aspects.
- Provide technical consultation on the integration of the regional platform to support seamless user experience.
- Propose recommendations for the improvement and growth of IT infrastructures, systems and products to deliver customized solutions.
- May be required to work after hours and weekends on an ad hoc basis depending on business requirements.
- Manage and schedule visits to Data Center to ensure up to date process for Data Center access and work with hardware/service provider to access the Data Center facilities and equipment.
- Monitor, investigate, analyse, and respond to cyber security exposure.
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessments, as well as recommend resolutions.
- Lead the security aspect during project proposal, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, development, user acceptance, post-implementation review and user/vendor management.
- Review, propose and devise improvements to security device technical setups and configurations ensuring compliance to company baselines and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with various IT teams in the Group for security deployment.
What You Bring
- Minimum Diploma or similar qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Windows Technologies, Networking and Virtualisation technologies.
- Ability to speak Mandarin, for effective and smooth liaison with Hong Kong and China-based stakeholders.
- Added bonus – Previous experience working with Microsoft 365, Cloud and Virtualisation technology.
- Experience and familiarity with cybersecurity risk management, related security and data protection related technologies, and compliance standards would be an advantage.
- Strong team player with strong problem solving and critical thinking competencies, who is open to learning.
