Sprung Studios is looking for a Functional QA Tester to join our team in Brighton, UK! We are interested in hearing from technically minded individuals who are passionate about games, User Interfaces, and delivering high-quality UI experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Production, Front-End Developers, Engineers and Designers to ensure implemented work is functioning correctly.
- Develop, follow, and maintain test plans and procedures.
- Use a variety of platforms, hardware, and tools to effectively test UI functionality.
- Create tickets to log bugs, crashes and glitches in detail with reproduction steps.
- Work closely with development teams to meet deadlines.
- Check that fixes to resolve problems work as expected.
- Communicate across multiple departments on found issues and their status.
- Ensure implemented UI meets relevant standards and guidelines such as accessibility and platform specific requirements.
- Stay up to date with industry standards and best practices to improve our testing methodologies and ways to develop the QA process.
What You’ll Bring:
- 2+ years of games industry and QA experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Solid attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changes in scope or requirements.
- Experience in a multitude of genres, including multiplayer online games.
- Comfortable working with teams across the world and in different timezones.
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of Network Game Client/Server architecture.
- Experience with Source Control Management.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, ADO, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

We are working in the studio with a hybrid model. Everyone will be in the studio on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are optional work-from-home days.
