Deputy Nursery Manager Opportunity in the Brighton Area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Observe and record children's progress, ensuring clear and open communication with parents and carers.
  • Work closely with the management team to uphold nursery policies, ensuring full compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and your team through open, positive communication.
  • Support and mentor junior team members to promote collaboration and consistency across the setting.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
What We're Looking For:
  • A recognised qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 3+).
  • Previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills to support smooth day-to-day nursery operations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
