About the role

Sprintlaw operates as a legal consultancy, not a law firm. As an independent contractor at Sprintlaw, you'll be able to log into our platform whenever you like and pick up the projects you want to do. We work flexibly with our contractors so you can decide when you work, the volume of projects you do and the type of work you do. We'll set you up with all our online project management systems, automated invoicing system and workflow automations, so all you need to do is work with the end client to deliver their fixed-fee projects.

What you'll do

  • Have 4+ years of experience in broad commercial & corporate areas of law
  • Are set up as a private company (either as a legal consultancy or independent SRA regulated law firm)
  • Have Public Liability Insurance of at least £2m
  • Understand our mission to make legal services simple and efficient for small businesses
  • Can follow our brand guidelines to ensure a consistent Sprintlaw client experience
  • Can keep us updated on changing capacity

Ideally, you are someone who:

  • Is personable, with experience working directly with clients
  • Is tech-savvy, able to operate our technology platforms
  • Has excellent communication skills (as we operate entirely online, the way you communicate to the small businesses we work with is very important!)
  • Has experience in any of the following areas: commercial, corporate structuring & capital raising, employment law, intellectual property (including trade mark applications and oppositions), franchising, NFP and charity set up, and data privacy compliance.

Our preference is to work with contractors who have a broad set of expertise areas and can service more clients, but we also sometimes work with specialist contractors depending on the area of work you do.
